A - Make sure you have a (or you can get) a PREMIUM account. ( visit account types)

B - You have time to update your own Domains.
Or get Electrofolio to DO IT ALL for you but Electrofolio will charge for admin fees.


How to set-up a domain to your Electrofolio site, steps:

1 - Register a domain
Use a domain registrar like : 123 Reg.co.uk and get a domain.

Important: The domain needs to match your username.
So, if your username is picasso then an example of a valid domain would be www.picasso.com or www.picasso.co.uk


2 - Set up the DNS
This is actually the only delicate step, if you are not sure, we can assist you if you contact with us.

Log in to the domain registar control panel to manage your domain name and navigate to the page that let's you manage your domain settings (A,MX,CNAME,TXT).

Then you need to locate where the A name is, (in 123-reg is under advaced DNS) in other websites can be called Zone.

Edit the "A" records:
"www" to : 69.163.172.200

If you have the previous: 67.205.8.45 or 69.163.226.16 , you have to update it to the new one or your site won't be working anymore.

Save the changes .


3 - Request your domain to be used in Electrofolio
Log in Electrofolio's CMS now.
Submit us a new domain using the editor › options › domain name.


4 - Wait and test.
If you have done it all properly now all you need to do is wait while your domain is being updated in our servers and across the Internet.
This process can take from 1 to 3 days.
If you are positive your domain has been setup properly and it is not working after 3 working days, please contact with us, something went wrong.

Note: If you have linked a domain from Electrofolio's control panel but you haven't set up DNS properly, your website will malfunction.
